Knit a Shawl/Lap Blanket/Make a Donation

• Find a friend or few to help.
• Be creative and design your own or follow our pattern.
• Acrylic yarn (washable), consider African colors
• size 9 needle
• cast on 30 stitches and knit a square.
• Knit 40 squares until approx 58” x 38”
• crochet or sew together.
• Take a picture of everyone who has helped knit.
• If you'd like to send a donation: Send a check (optional $35 suggestion) to cover expenses of new dress patient will receive when leaving hospital.
